Overview

The Confluence Cloud integration is not supported on this Datadog site ().

Confluence is a team workspace where knowledge and collaboration meet. It allows teams to create, share, and collaborate on content in one place. The Datadog integration for Confluence enables you to:

  • Create a postmortem in Confluence from the Incident App

Connect Datadog to Confluence using our Connect App in the Atlassian marketplace.

Setup

Installation

  1. Sign in to your Confluence Cloud account and navigate to the Atlassian Marketplace.
  2. Search for the “Datadog for Confluence Cloud” app and select the version that corresponds to your Datadog site.
  3. Once installed, navigate to the App Menu and click the “Configure” button.
  4. Generate a one-time code.
  5. Copy the generated code and paste it into the text box.
  6. Click Connect to link your Datadog and Confluence Cloud accounts.

Configuration

To set up your postmortem template in Incident App:

  1. Navigate to the Incident App in Datadog.
  2. Go to Settings > Postmortem Templates (under any incident type).
  3. Create a new template or modify an existing one.
  4. Under the Save Location dropdown, select Confluence, then configure the space.
  5. Your template will be used when creating postmortems from incidents.
