Prefect

Overview

Prefect is an open-source workflow orchestration tool designed to help manage, schedule, monitor, and automate workflows in a data engineering, machine learning, or business automation context. It’s often used to handle complex workflows involving tasks like data processing, ETL (extract, transform, load), machine learning pipelines, and any other repeatable processes.

This integration allows you to collect Prefect data as logs and metrics in Datadog, and includes an out-of-the-box dashboard.

• Logs: Flow Runs, Task Runs, Deployments, Workspace Events
• Metrics: Flow Success Metrics, Flow Duration Metrics, Flow Total Metrics, Flow SLA Violation Metrics, Flow Lateness Metrics, Flow Failure Rate Metrics

It also includes a pre-built dashboard to visualize flow runs, task runs, deployments, and workspace events data.
