Setup

Installation

If you haven’t already, set up the Amazon Web Services integration first.

Metric collection

  1. In the AWS integration tile, ensure that MediaStore is checked under metric collection.
  2. Install the Datadog - AWS Elemental MediaStore integration.

Data Collected

Metrics

aws.mediastore.4xx_error_count
(count)
The number of HTTP requests made to MediaStore that resulted in a 4xx error.
Shown as error
aws.mediastore.5xx_error_count
(count)
The number of HTTP requests made to MediaStore that resulted in a 5xx error.
Shown as error
aws.mediastore.bytes_downloaded
(gauge)
The average number of bytes downloaded for requests made to a MediaStore container, where the response includes a body.
Shown as byte
aws.mediastore.bytes_downloaded.maximum
(gauge)
The maximum number of bytes downloaded for requests made to a MediaStore container, where the response includes a body.
Shown as byte
aws.mediastore.bytes_downloaded.minimum
(gauge)
The minimum number of bytes downloaded for requests made to a MediaStore container, where the response includes a body.
Shown as byte
aws.mediastore.bytes_downloaded.samplecount
(count)
The sample count of bytes downloaded for requests made to a MediaStore container, where the request includes a body.
aws.mediastore.bytes_downloaded.sum
(count)
The sum of the number of bytes downloaded for requests made to a MediaStore container, where the response includes a body.
Shown as byte
aws.mediastore.bytes_uploaded
(gauge)
The average number of bytes uploaded for requests made to a MediaStore container, where the request includes a body.
Shown as byte
aws.mediastore.bytes_uploaded.maximum
(gauge)
The maximum number of bytes uploaded for requests made to a MediaStore container, where the request includes a body.
Shown as byte
aws.mediastore.bytes_uploaded.minimum
(gauge)
The minimum number of bytes uploaded for requests made to a MediaStore container, where the request includes a body.
Shown as byte
aws.mediastore.bytes_uploaded.samplecount
(count)
The sample count of bytes uploaded for requests made to a MediaStore container, where the request includes a body.
aws.mediastore.bytes_uploaded.sum
(count)
The sum of the number of bytes uploaded for requests made to a MediaStore container, where the request includes a body.
Shown as byte
aws.mediastore.request_count
(count)
The total number of HTTP requests made to a MediaStore container, separated by operation type (Put, Get, Delete, Describe, List).
Shown as request
aws.mediastore.throttle_count
(count)
The number of HTTP requests made to MediaStore that were throttled.
Shown as request
aws.mediastore.total_time
(gauge)
The average number of milliseconds that the request was in flight from the server's perspective. This value is measured from the time that MediaStore receives your request, to the time that it sends the last byte of the response. This value is measured from the server's perspective because measurements made from the client's perspective are affected by network latency.
Shown as millisecond
aws.mediastore.total_time.maximum
(gauge)
The maximum number of milliseconds that the request was in flight from the server's perspective. This value is measured from the time that MediaStore receives your request, to the time that it sends the last byte of the response. This value is measured from the server's perspective because measurements made from the client's perspective are affected by network latency.
Shown as millisecond
aws.mediastore.total_time.minimum
(gauge)
The minimum number of milliseconds that the request was in flight from the server's perspective. This value is measured from the time that MediaStore receives your request, to the time that it sends the last byte of the response. This value is measured from the server's perspective because measurements made from the client's perspective are affected by network latency.
Shown as millisecond
aws.mediastore.total_time.samplecount
(count)
The sample count of the metric of milliseconds that the request was in flight from the server's perspective.
aws.mediastore.total_time.sum
(count)
The total number of milliseconds that requests were in flight from the server's perspective. This value is measured from the time that MediaStore receives your request, to the time that it sends the last byte of the response. This value is measured from the server's perspective because measurements made from the client's perspective are affected by network latency.
Shown as millisecond
aws.mediastore.turnaround_time
(gauge)
The average number of milliseconds that MediaStore spent processing your request. This value is measured from the time that MediaStore receives the last byte of your request, to the time that it sends the first byte of the response.
Shown as millisecond
aws.mediastore.turnaround_time.maximum
(gauge)
The maximum number of milliseconds that MediaStore spent processing your request. This value is measured from the time that MediaStore receives the last byte of your request, to the time that it sends the first byte of the response.
Shown as millisecond
aws.mediastore.turnaround_time.minimum
(gauge)
The minimum number of milliseconds that MediaStore spent processing your request. This value is measured from the time that MediaStore receives the last byte of your request, to the time that it sends the first byte of the response.
Shown as millisecond
aws.mediastore.turnaround_time.samplecount
(count)
The sample count of the metric of milliseconds that MediaStore spent processing your request.
aws.mediastore.turnaround_time.sum
(count)
The total number of milliseconds that MediaStore spent processing your request. This value is measured from the time that MediaStore receives the last byte of your request, to the time that it sends the first byte of the response.
