AWS Network Manager is a centralized monitoring service for managing your AWS Cloud WAN core network and your AWS Transit Gateway network across AWS accounts, Regions, and on-premises locations.
Setup
Installation
If you haven’t already, set up the Amazon Web Services integration first.
Configuration
- In the AWS integration page, ensure that Network Manager is enabled under the Metric Collection tab.
- Install the Datadog - Amazon Network Manager integration.

Metrics
aws.ec2.infrastructureperformance.aggregate_aws_network_performance (gauge) | The average latency between Regions, inter-Availability Zones, or intra-Availability Zones. Shown as millisecond |
aws.networkmanager.bytes_in (count) | The number of bytes received by a resource. Shown as byte |
aws.networkmanager.bytes_out (count) | The number of bytes sent from a resource. Shown as byte |
aws.networkmanager.packets_in (count) | The number of packets received by a resource. Shown as packet |
aws.networkmanager.packets_out (count) | The number of packets sent from a resource. Shown as packet |
aws.networkmanager.data_in (count) | The number of bytes received by a resource. Shown as byte |
aws.networkmanager.data_out (count) | The number of bytes sent from a resource. Shown as byte |
aws.networkmanager.tunnel_down_count (gauge) | The number of VPN tunnels that have a DOWN status. Static VPN tunnels with a DOWN status, and BGP VPN tunnels with any state other than ESTABLISHED, are included in the count. |
